We are delighted to confirm that on 13 March 2014, Andy Rogers, non-executive director for the VGC Group, was honoured by Pope Francis, with the major Papal award of a Knight of St Gregory the Great (KSG).
Andy has being awarded this knighthood for a range of initiatives, including his time put into Catholic education over 26 years, but particularly for his work as a Trustee on ‘More than Gold’, an initiative of all the Christian Churches leading up to and during the London Olympics, where he positively represented the Catholic Church.
The formal investiture will take place in Rickmansworth on 12 July 2014.
Andy now has the following formal initials after his name KSG KMCO PDSA – a unique papal, royal and republican trio of honours!
