VGC has supplied M & E (mechanical and electrical) labour resources to a large number of projects throughout the UK.
In London we were pleased to support Balfour Beatty in the development of Blackfriars Bridge where the M & E component of the labour contract has exceeded £2 million. Elsewhere, in 2012, the projects where VGC has provided M & E resources include Heathrow Energy Centre, St Margaret’s Hospital in Greenwood, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and the Building Schools for the Future programme.
VGC has been providing labour resources to the UK construction industry for over 50 years and is now one of the leading suppliers of all categories of labour. While we originally supplied civil construction labour, in the 1990s, with the introduction of our competency management system and the opening of our training facility, we expanded our capacity to include specialist railway personnel, and later in 2010 mechanical and electrical labour.
VGC is accredited to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, BS OHSAS 18001:2007 and operates a comprehensive competency management system.
