Strongly focused on delivering excellence in social value and ESG initiatives VGC is seeking a knowledgeable ESG Manager to lead on VGC’s ESG output both internally and externally.

Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Manager Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role with a requirement to travel across the UK to VGC offices and site locations, as maybe required.  The successful candidate for the Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Manager role will be based in London.

Our ESG Manager will lead the delivery of ESG programmes that challenge inequality and facilitate employment opportunities for those furthest away from the labour market. This role focuses on attracting new entrants to the industry, supporting the development of our workforce & supporting the wider community whilst ensuring we maintain an inclusive and welcoming culture across the VGC Group.

About you:

  • Strong communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of relevant government legislations and frameworks including the social value act, equality act, and PPN 06/20
  • Driving licence essential

The sucsessful Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Manager will be given a salary of up to £55,000 plus aditional benefits.
