On behalf of my client, I am recruiting for an Industrial Safety Manager to be based at Sizewell B.
As the Industrial Safety Manager you will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of the Safety strategy in line with objectives and direction of the UKBU.
Role Overview:
*Responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of the Safety strategy in line with objectives and direction of the UKBU.
*Interpret this strategy in promotion of the Industrial Safety, environment and quality model at an individual station and within the wider safety framework, so that physical and emotional wellbeing is the upmost priority.
* Work closely with the Industrial Safety Director and the Site Leadership team outputs to contribute food development to support operational delivery of all health and safety programmes.
* Have responsibility for the collation of monthly reports and policy, guidance, operating procedure development to support operational delivery of all health and safety programmes.
* To make sure that the site under their responsibility operates to the highest standards of health and safety management through being responsible for the delivery of this BU safety strategy and for engagement at all levels to ensure continuous improvement world class performance and the development of a positive safety culture.
* They will support incident investigations insurance sites are supported in the prompt closure of all actions related to these incidents.
* There will be a subject matter expert in key areas of safety compliance for the contract, owning the procedure and associated documents for the area of expertise and enabling the operations team to have embedded SME’s.
Essential Criteria:
*NEBOSH Diploma
*ISO09001 internal auditor training.
*ISO 14001 internal orders the training and or environmental foundation management certification (IEMA/NEBOSH equivalent).
*Working knowledge of UK and EU safety and environmental regulations
*Working knowledge UN management of capital 45001, 9001, 14001 standards
