QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Location – Plymouth, Devon
Duration – 6 Months with a possible extension
Rate – £375 – 420 per shift (Inside IR35)
I am currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a major civil engineering project based in Devonport, Plymouth.
QUANTITY SURVEYOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- The main purpose of this role is to subcontract management, so liaising with subcontractors and overseeing sub contract invoicing etc.
- Assist in resolving contractual issues, extensions, loss and/or expense claims, terms & conditions
- Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risk
- Carry out commercial activities to meet the Project objectives, including providing advice, guidance & support on such matters to the Project team
QUANTITY SURVEYOR REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous major project experience would be ideal
- Prior experience of dealing with subcontracts
- BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Worked with / for Tier 1 contractors
- Experience with NEC contracts
