SITE ENGINEER
Location: Exeter
Duration: 6 Months with a possible extension
Pay: £350 per day
Start: Immediately
This is a great opportunity for a Site Engineer with a good set of setting out skills to come onboard and get stuck into a highways project.
SITE ENGINEER DUTIES
- Setting out – using relevant kit
- As-built surveys
- QA
- ITP’s (Inspection Test Plans)
- Quality control on site
- Updating site specific documentation
- Management of sub-contractors
- Management of direct labour if applicable
SITE ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience working on highways project
- Previously worked as Site Engineer/Setting Out Engineer or in a similar position
- Must be: strong with quality related duties – QA, ITP’s, ITR’s
- Must hold: CSCS card and full driving license.
- Capable of setting out to exact drawing specifications
- Degree educated in a civil engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
