Site Manager
Job Description:
Based from a designated site in the area, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of supervisors, delivery teams and sub-contractors on site. You’ll look to ensure resources are utilised correctly to ensure efficiency is achieved and we optimise the workforce to meet deadlines.
You’ll also be responsible for carrying out the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, quality and performance standards and ensuring all work meets required water industry regulations and Anglian Water’s approved standards including POSWSH.
Site is a sewage treatment plant and the whole building is classed as a confined space. The work is multiple projects within the building:
- Replacing gas monitoring system
- Replacing gas ventilation system
- Building back up generator outside the building
- A couple of additional smaller projects once the big ones are completed
Role will be equally split between mechanical / electrical / civils.
Requirements:
- Confined Space – City & Guilds Medium – safety critical medical (they cannot access site without this)
- Gold or black CSCS card
- SMSTS
- First aid (3day)
- Temporary works supervisor
- Scaffold awareness
- Asbestos awareness
Ideal qualifications:
- DSEAR
- NPORS/CPCS lift supervisor or Lifting AP
