Sub Agent
Long Term Project (14 Month Contract)
My client is a Tier 1 contractor based in Rotherham, who is currently looking for a Sub Agent on a 14 month contract. This is a great opportunity to work on a large civils project in the U.K.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all permits ready for site work to commence
- Ensure the Inspection and Test Plans, and Quality Check Sheets are completed as soon as the checks can be completed
- Write and Approve method statements and risk assessments and ensure they are being followed throughout the works
- Checking design drawings and reporting any issues or inconsistencies
- Liaise with other Sections to ensure a smooth flow of work.
- Management of Section Engineers, Site Engineers, Section Managers and Foreman
- Experience delivering either mine water treatment, civil or nuclear engineering schemes within a Civils environment
- Drive construction phase of the project
- Manage Quality & Environmental plans on site
Requirements:
- Previous experience working on heavy civil based projects
- Tier one contractor experience within the infrastructure sector
- Forward thinking and will work with the team to ensure the project runs smoothly
- Degree educated in an engineering discipline OR equivalent experience
- CSCS card
- Able to produce and explain accurate plans and drawings
