Utilities Project Manager
Based in Twyford, Berkshire
£450 – 500 per day
12 months rolling contract

My client is currently recruiting for a Project Manager with a background in the utilities and civils sector to work on one of the highest profile schemes in the U.K delivering HS2.

Responsibilities:
– Delivery of works on site in a safe productive manner
– Delivering utility diversions project schemes including water, gas, electric and communications assets
– Manage the day to day site operations on site
– Ability to write RAMS/WPPs, documentation for ITP’s
– Ability to complete the required daily records for works completed on site each day and note all programme delays, attendees, raise with the commercial team any changes/ issues re the contracted works
– Attend weekly progress meetings with the client
– Update information re the programme to the programme team
– Overall responsibility for the works on site.
– Manage and ensure ITPs are agreed and completed accordingly.
– Completing documentation to get contract to site
– Management of appointed specialist subcontractors etc. is being carried out to specification and programme

Requirements:
– CSCS black card
– SMSTS (CITB)
– NRSWA Supervisor
– Ability to manage staff, sub-contractors and suppliers
– Suitable Project Management Qualification
– First Aid Qualified
– Understanding of utility projects
– Management of Health and Safety on site
– Ability/ confidence to run a site
