We were contracted by Eurovia to provide key infrastructure at Houghton Regis near Dunstable.
VGC undertook major road reconstruction and drainage work. The development will serve future housing and commercial developments, as well as a new council depot and recycling centre.
Thanks to key influencer Vlad Birtalan and effective collaboration with our client, all earthworks, roads, services, and drainage activities ran smoothly with no incidents on site.

The development, known as HRN1, is a high quality, sustainable urban extension of 5,150 new homes to the north of the Bedfordshire town. HRN1 is well connected to the road, rail and air network in the region, making it an ideal location for new business, community and leisure facilities.

Eurovia is one of the UK’s leading highways and infrastructure maintenance companies. We have successfully completed enabling works and section 278 road contracts on a number of sites for Eurovia. These include projects at Syon Park in west London and at Burnham in Buckinghamshire.
