Admin Assistant

Based in Catterick

£13 – 15 per hour

18 month contract (possibility of extension)

We are seeking a highly capable, proactive, and organised Admin Assistant to join our team on a live site in Catterick. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional individual who thrives in a structured and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilites:

Supporting the Document Controller with document uploads, revisions, distribution, and tracking

Ensuring all site documentation is accurately logged, filed, and maintained in line with company procedures

Processing and clearing workers for site access, including verifying required documentation and identification

Coordinating inductions and assisting with onboarding administration

Maintaining up-to-date records of personnel, certifications, and compliance documentation

Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, calls, and post)

Preparing reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as required

Assisting with meeting coordination, including scheduling, minute-taking, and distributing documentation

Monitoring and maintaining office supplies and general administrative systems

Supporting health & safety administration, including record keeping and documentation checks

Providing general administrative support to the site management team as required

 

Requirements:

Advanced proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Strong working knowledge of document management systems

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

Confident liaising with site management, subcontractors, and external stakeholders

Professional telephone manner and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Previous experience in a construction, engineering, or secure-site environment is desirable but not essential.

Will need to be able to obtain a SC, BPPS to work on the project
