Design Manager
We are seeking an experienced and driven Design Manager to join a high-performing Work Winning team on a contract basis. This is an urgent requirement supporting a major tender project based along the M4 corridor.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping a significant project from the ground up, collaborating with industry-leading professionals and influencing key design decisions.
The Opportunity:
You will take ownership of managing multiple design disciplines, leading and coordinating a team of specialist sub-consultants delivering:
- Value engineering
- Design verification
- Design production
- Design assurance
Working at the heart of the project, you will act as a key interface between the client’s technical team and the OEM contractor, ensuring alignment, quality, and delivery excellence across all design activities.
Key Details:
Start: Immediate (ASAP)
Duration: Until January 2027
Location: M4 corridor
Working Pattern: Minimum of 3 days per week in the office
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A relevant engineering degree
- Strong design management experience across multi-disciplinary teams
- The ability to lead, influence, and collaborate at senior stakeholder level
- Chartered status (desirable but not essential)
