Groundworks Ganger – Long-Term Project

Location: Redcar, Teesside (TS10 5QW)

Pay Rate:

  • £19.46 – First 39 hours

  • £29.19 – After 39 hours & first 4 hours on Saturday

  • £38.92 – After 4 hours on Saturday & all day Sunday

Start Date: ASAP

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Civils / Groundworks Ganger to join a major long-term infrastructure project in Teesside. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a leading contractor, supporting a high-performing site team.

Key Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate Groundworkers and Plant Operators

  • Ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification

  • Support day-to-day site operations and problem solving

  • Communicate effectively with site teams and management

  • Maintain high standards of quality and productivity

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in Civils and Groundworks

  • Previous experience leading or overseeing site teams

  • Confident communicator with good organisational skills

  • Reliable, proactive, and able to start immediately

Essential Qualifications

  • CSCS card

  • Valid SSSTS

  • Proof of right to work in the UK
