NOW HIRING: Groundworker – Construction Site

Location: Penrith, CA11 0DN
Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour (PAYE)
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting an experienced Groundworker to join our team on an active construction project in Penrith (CA11 0DN). The successful candidate will carry out groundworks and support construction operations while ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Position Available

Groundworker – CSCS Green Card required

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid CSCS Green Card

  • Proven experience as a Groundworker on civils or construction projects

  • Knowledge of safe groundworks practices and procedures

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a site team

  • Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude

  • Valid Right to Work in the UK

Key Duties

  • Excavation, trenching, and groundwork preparation

  • Assisting with drainage, foundations, and other civil works

  • Loading, unloading, and moving materials on site

  • Maintaining safe and tidy work areas

  • Following all site safety procedures and reporting hazards

  • Supporting daily site operations to ensure smooth workflow
