GROUNDWORKERS – HINKLEY POINT
VGC Group are looking to employ experienced Steel Fixers for Hinkley Point Power Station in Bridgwater.
Location: Bridgwater
Starting Salary: £16.30 Per Hour WRA (1.5 x Rate after first 39 hours, Saturdays 1.5 x Rate for first 4 hours, 2 x Rate thereafter) subject for review D.O.E and after starter competency interview
Benefits: Lodge or Travel allowance in line with CIJC, Milestone Bonuses, Daily Bus Allowances & Shift Allowances applicable where appropriate.
Experience: 2 years +
Tasks Include: Site Preparation, Excavation using hand tools, compacting, materials disposal, Sub base materials, Installation of foundations, drainage and formwork. Laying Kerbs & Drainage products to correct line and levels. All whilst maintaining a clean and safe worksite
Qualifications: Blue CSCS NVQ Level 2 in General Construction or Groundworks
BPSS Vetting is required for this project, however this will be handled directly.
