NOW HIRING: General Operative – Highways / Construction

Location: A57, 
Pay Rate: £13.14 per hour (PAYE)
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting a General Operative to join our team on an active highways project along the A57 (SK14 6NG). The successful candidate will assist with a range of site activities, helping to keep the project running safely and efficiently.

Position Available

General Operative – CSCS green card 

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in construction or highways work is desirable but not essential

  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Valid Right to Work in the UK

Key Duties

  • Assisting site teams with general construction and highways tasks

  • Moving materials and equipment safely around the site

  • Maintaining tidy and safe work areas

  • Following site safety procedures at all times

  • Supporting the smooth operation of daily site activities
