Lift Supervisor
Location: South Shields
Pay Rate: CIS pay – Negotiable
Start Date: ASAP
We’re looking for an experienced Lift Supervisor to join an energy project based in South Shields, working on concrete trough installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on site
- Ensure lifting operations are carried out safely and in accordance with approved Lifting Plans
- Brief and coordinate Slinger/Signallers, crane operators and site personnel
- Check lifting accessories are suitable, inspected and fit for purpose
- Establish and maintain safe exclusion zones around lifting operations
- Ensure all lifting operations follow RAMS and approved procedures
- Monitor ground conditions, lifting zones and environmental factors
- Coordinate the safe positioning and installation of concrete troughs and other materials
- Stop lifting operations where unsafe conditions or practices are identified
- Complete and maintain relevant lifting documentation and records
Requirements
- Valid CPCS Card – Lifting Supervisor
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
