Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Birmingham
Salary up to £90,000 + 5k Travel Allowance + Aditional benefits

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of interfacing packages, ensuring that all related projects are effectively planned, managed, and controlled throughout their life-cycle.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong working relationships with internal design teams and technical stakeholders to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Project manage design interfacing packages, ensuring design considerations align with operational requirements.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of design work package plans and other relevant project deliverables.
  • Chair weekly design review and coordination meetings between the design team and project construction team, ensuring that methodologies align with operational needs.
  • Manage design-related scheduling and resource allocation to meet project timelines.
  • Oversee updates to design documentation and plans as necessary.
  • Ensure that all operational interfaces are integrated into the design planning aspects of the project.
  • Maintain the Interface Control Document and associated registers to ensure clarity in design interfaces.
  • Support internal teams with technical presentations and discussions with stakeholders as necessary.
  • Act as the main point of contact for design-related incidents impacting project operations.
  • Organize and document condition inspections and reports regarding project assets, overseeing any necessary remedial design works.
  • Maintain a register of all commitments and undertakings related to design and ensure compliance with these commitments.
  • Oversee deliveries to site, ensuring logistics are coordinated and compliant with project timelines.
  • Identify and manage design activities necessary to protect project assets, including both physical protections and monitoring.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of relevant engineering assurance requirements and standards.

Project Manager Qualifications, Certifications, and Experience:

  • Degree, HNC, or similar higher education qualification in a relevant field.
