VGC are currently recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 client and have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join them. Based from Blantyre.
The Role
Reporting to the Lead Quantity Surveyor, you’ll work as part of a collaborative commercial team, managing project costs from inception through to completion. You’ll oversee contractual commitments, challenge assumptions, and help identify best-value solutions.
With strong communication skills, you’ll take a client-focused approach, building effective relationships with stakeholders, colleagues, and supply chain partners.
Key Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll ideally have a relevant commercial qualification alongside strong contractual knowledge and experience in CVR and commercial reporting. Previous experience within the civil engineering sector is essential.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold a degree-level qualification
Be working towards chartership with RICS or CICES
Have experience within infrastructure or civil engineering
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be highly organised, with the ability to analyse and report accurately
Be confident working independently, with strong planning and preparation skills
