Site Agent and Sub agent
Location – Swindon
Rate – Competitive
My client is a Tier 1 contractor based in Swindon, who is currently looking for a site agent or a sub agent with previous rail and bridges experience to work on one of the major rail to work on the site on a long term contract position.
Site agent responsibilities and requirements:
- The project will involve the remediation of bridge structures and trunk sewer barrels within both road and rail infrastructure.
- This is an excellent opportunity to lead a project from conception to completion
- Responsibilities will include leading a team of sub agents and engineers
- NEC knowledge would be advantageous
Sub agent Responsibilities and requirements:
- Managing the sub-contractors and engineers
- Procurement / ordering of materials
- Quality Control of the works / Health and Safety
- Production of weekly rolling programmes
- Providing support to site engineers
- Management of site activities
- Progress reporting
- Experience of major rail/bridges projects
- Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent
- CSCS
- CITB TWC – would be beneficial but not essential
- PTS – Essential
