Role: Site Engineer
Location: Coleshill
Pay Rate: £450 – £500 per day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella PAYE)

SHIFT PATTERNS:
From April 25 to Mid May -? 5/2 (working Monday to Friday, off on Saturday & Sunday ) day and night alternatively
From mid May 25 to 2nd week of July 25 -? 10/4 dayshift, 9/5 night shift (Working Tuesday to Thursday over weekend, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday off) alternatively

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Setting out on site
  • Provide setting out and final check with Total Station and Amber system for 2nd lining work and SCL excavation work (controlling the excavation profile and shotcrete spray profile)
  • Project Planning & Coordination
  • Coordination with Subcontractors: Ensure that subcontractors are provided with the necessary information and materials to carry out their work on time. Liaise between the subcontractors.
  • Supervision & Management
  • Site Supervision: Supervise the day-to-day activities of subcontractors and direct labour to ensure compliance with the project schedule, specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Site Activities Monitoring: Monitor and report on the progress of work being executed by subcontractors, addressing any delays or issues in real time.
  • Quality Control & Assurance
  • Material and Work Quality Check: Inspect the quality of work performed by subcontractors and ensure that materials are of the required standard and are being used properly.
  • Compliance with Specifications: Ensure that all work done by subcontractors or direct labour is in accordance with the contract specifications
  • Inspection & Testing: Coordinate the testing and inspection with Quality Team and Client and Designer according to approved ITP to completed work and materials to ensure they meet required quality.
  • On site testing; Carry out shotcrete related test to facilitate the excavation cycle
  • Set up of maturity sensor: Install maturity sensor for 2nd lining
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Management
  • Safety Standards Compliance: Ensure all subcontractor activities are in compliance with the company’s health and safety policies and relevant legal requirements.
  • Safety Audits and Risk Assessment: Conduct periodic safety audits and risk assessments of the worksite and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Safety Briefing : To delivery safety briefing to team according to approved RAMS, TBS, etc…
  • Provide induction training: Provide induction training session for new comer or visitors.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Daily Progress Reports: Maintain detailed records of daily work performed by subcontractors, including materials used, hours worked, and any issues encountered.
  • Issue Reporting: Report any issues, delays, or concerns regarding SCL work to higher management.
  • Prepare safety related documents; Provide or updated RAMS, TBS, related permit, etc…
