Pay rate / salary – dependent on experience

Multiple needs are across the U.K

Our client is seeking a Site Manager, for working on numerous Energy based projects. There Option to work site close to home where possible and also work away as sites throughout the UK (subsistence and travel covered).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
  • Liaising with the client, other construction professionals
  • Coordinating and supervising construction workers
  • Selecting tools and materials
  • Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
  • Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
  • Maintaining quality control procedures
  • Ordering Plant and Materials
  • Collation of documents and As Built Records
  • Cost and Programme Management
  • Management and Supervision of Temporary Works
  • Record Keeping and report writing.
  • Client liaison and coordination/interface

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous Site Manager experience
  • National Grid experience is a preference – Besc & Persons
  • Worked on cabling, substation or similar projects
  • NEBOSH/IOSH
  • COSHH
  • SMSTS
  • Recognised Civil or Electrical Qualification
  • CSCS Or EUSR card
  • Temporary Works Co Ordinator
  • SMSTS/SSSTS
  • First Aid at Work
