Supervisor/Foreman

Location – Salisbury

Duration – 6 months contract

Rate – Competitive 

 

My client is looking for a supervisor/foreman to join their team on a major highways/roads project in Salisbury. The successful candidate must have a Supervisor/Foremanexperience within highways/roads projects. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • The ideal must have experience working on roads, civils, surfacing, and kerbs.
  • Supervision & Motivation: Organise, motivate, and supervise all site operatives and subcontractors to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
  • Producing CDM construction phase plans then ensure all safety procedures carried out on site
  • Ordering of plant and materials on daily basis
  • Undertaking site inspections/inductions prior to work starting
  • Assisting in preparation of weekly cost and value reports
  • Maintaining site diary
  • Managing subcontractors on site
  • Providing ECI to client/designer
  • Producing and adhere to works programme
  • Regularly checking of vehicle appearance inside and out
  • Actively fostering a positive staff morale
  • Willingly carrying out any reasonable task as requested by a member of management

Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Driving Licence 
  • Background in Civil Engineering or Highways and Managing Multiple Teams of People
  • NRSWA supervisor
  • IT Literate
  • CSCS Black card
  • SMSTS/SSSTS
