Site Supervisor
Location – Cornwall
We are currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor who would have worked on water projects before. The project involves doing upgrades on water mains network. Also includes planning and installing water meters and bypass pipeworks.
RESPONSIBILIES
– Key responsibility will be ensuring all health and safety policies are adhered to and maintained.
– Managing the supply chain and subcontractors – 2-3 teams at any one time.
– Auditing and quality checks.
– Procuring plant and materials.
– Helping with streetworks applications.
REQUIREMENTS
– White CSCS card or EUSR card essential
– SSSTS or SMSTS essential
– Water hygiene card essential
– NRSWA supervisor beneficial
– Asbestos awareness beneficial
– Knowledge of water industry
o They will be responsible for health and safety so must understand this
o Knowledge of piping / materials and how water works needed
– Could be suitable for an operative who is looking to step up into a supervisory role or someone with previous supervisory experience
– Ideally local to the area so they are familiar with the local geography
