Skilled Operative – Long-Term Civil Engineering Project

Location: Barrow-in-Furness, LA13
Rate: £17.26 per hour (CIS) 
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking an Skilled Operative to join a long-term civil engineering project in Barrow-in-Furness.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operating Dumper and Roller machinery
  • Carrying out kerb laying works
  • Assisting with road construction and installation activities
  • Supporting general civil engineering operations
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site

Requirements

  • SWQR Card – preferred not essential
  • Valid CPCS – Ride on Roller and Forward Tipping Dumper
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Proof of Right to Work in the UK
  • Willingness to complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
