NOW HIRING: Unskilled Operatives
Location: Bradbury Motorway Compound, Ferryhill, Co. Durham (DL17 0LG)
Pay Rate: £13.32 per hour Weekdays / £17.71 per hour Weekends (PAYE)
Start Date: 01/06/2026
We are currently recruiting 2 x Unskilled Operatives to join the Area 14 Maintenance & Response project based in Ferryhill, Co. Durham. Successful candidates will support the site team with general operational duties across the motorway maintenance project.
Positions Available
2 x Unskilled Operatives
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience working on site or within a labouring environment preferred
Good understanding of site health and safety
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work as part of a team
Flexible to work occasional night shifts
Valid Right to Work in the UK
Key Duties
Supporting site teams with general operational duties
Assisting with maintenance and response works
Keeping work areas clean and safe
Loading and unloading materials when required
Following all health and safety procedures on site
Supporting day and occasional night shift operations
Shift Information
Day shifts available
Occasional night shifts required: 19:00 – 04:30
Weekend work available at enhanced rates
