Welding Engineer – Hartlepool – up to £65,000 per annum
VGC Energy part of VGC Group Limited are currently recruiting a Welding Engineer for one of the UKs largest steel manufacturing and distribution companies who specialise in steel pipes within the energy and construction sectors both UK and globally – based in Hartlepool.
Welding Engineer – Rewards and Benefits
- Up to £65,000 per annum
- Mon – Fri – DAYS – 36.5hrs per week

Welding Engineer – Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and oversee all welding procedures as required by client specifications.
- Collaborate with the Technical Department to determine appropriate welding consumables.
- Approve purchases of welding consumables.
- Conduct and assess welding trials to enhance quality benchmarks within the pipe mill.
- Maintain weld operator qualifications in accordance with applicable welding codes.
Welding Engineer – Requirements
- You MUST hold a qualified Welding Engineering Diploma (European / International)
- Strong technical and analytical skills
