NOW HIRING: Multi Skilled Groundworker (Dumper/Roller Driver)

Locations:

  • Wigan WwTW

  • Skelmersdale WwTW, L40 4BL

Pay Rate: £18.15 per hour (PAYE)
Start Date: Immediate

We are currently recruiting an experienced Multi Skilled Groundworker with Dumper and Roller tickets to support ongoing AMP8 water infrastructure works across the Wigan and Skelmersdale WwTW sites. Immediate starts are available for suitable candidates.

Position Available

  • Multi Skilled Groundworker (Dumper/Roller Driver) – Valid CPCS or NPORS required

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid CPCS or NPORS tickets for Dumper and Roller

  • Strong groundworks experience (drainage, concreting, kerbing, ducting, etc.)

  • Ability to support plant operations when required

  • Understanding of water/civils site safety

  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team

  • Valid Right to Work in the UK

Duties Will Include

  • Operating Dumper and Roller safely on site

  • Carrying out general groundworks activities

  • Assisting with excavation, reinstatement and site prep

  • Supporting plant and logistics teams as needed

  • Ensuring compliance with all health & safety procedures
