Congratulations to labour manager Ciaran Murray, who has retired after 15 years at VGC.
Ciaran has been key in supplying labour and trades to major infrastructure contracts in the north-west. His numerous projects have included the Mersey Gateway, Urenco, North West Electrification Project, the Manchester airport relief road (A6MARR), and the Ordsall Chord.
Last week colleagues and customers came together in Manchester to show their appreciation for Ciaran’s dedication and service over the years. Richard Palin, operations director, said: “Ciaran has made a major contribution to building our business in the Midlands and the north. We’re all sorry to see him go, and we wish him well for his future.”
Sean Fitzpatrick, executive chairman, said: “Thank you to Ciaran for his substantial contribution to VGC over the last 15 years. We look forward to seeing him any time he drops in for a post-retirement visit!”
We wish Ciaran a very happy retirement.
