Leadership changes in 2025 at the VGC Group

The VGC Group is excited to announce significant leadership changes in 2025, positioning the company to capitalise on emerging opportunities within the infrastructure sector and continue supporting clients with their recruitment needs across the UK and beyond.

Ciara Pryce has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer, where she will lead the company’s business strategy and guide the executive team. With over 20 years experience, Ciara has driven initiatives to integrate socially responsible recruitment and skills development. During this time VGC received numerous accolades, including the HS2 Inspiration Award for Modern Slavery Prevention and helped VGC become the first company to achieve the CHAS Social Sustainability (ESG) accreditation. These achievements have solidified VGC’s role as a strategic recruitment partner for major projects across the UK.

Chris Ryan steps into the role of Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations and strategic growth initiatives.

Steve Kenny has been promoted to Managing Director, responsible for maintaining VGC’s success in delivering high standards across all recruitment activities within the UK.

Ciara, Chris, and Steve will continue to be supported by the current Board of Directors: Chris Hoyle (Finance Director), Peter Ball (Legal, Compliance & Governance Director), and Stephen Burns (Client Engagement Director). Together, they will drive the company forward while upholding VGC’s core values.

Additionally, VGC is pleased to welcome Sean MacGloin as Operations Director. With his extensive background in energy recruitment both in the UK and internationally, Sean will support the team in expanding VGC’s operational capabilities across all sectors.

“These strategic senior leadership appointments will ensure that VGC is well-positioned to take full advantage of the opportunities in the infrastructure and energy markets over the coming years.”

Sean Fitzpatrick, Chairman

Ciara Pryce, CEO, added: “VGC has always upheld the highest standards in ethical and transparent recruitment. Together with the executive team, we will build on this strong foundation, focusing on excellence, driving digital transformation and safety, and sustainably growing the VGC Group to provide long-term, meaningful careers for all our people.”
