It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our friend and colleague, Nick Wells.
Nick started with VGC in 2007 on the East London Line and progressed through the ranks to the role of labour manager, where in recent years he has overseen recruitment on major infrastructure projects including Crossrail, the Align section of HS2 and Heathrow Airport.
Anyone that has had the absolute pleasure of working with Nick will know that in addition to the fantastic work he did, he was kind, compassionate and fun. He deeply cared for those around him and would regularly go above and beyond to ensure the wellbeing of friends, colleagues and people that worked for VGC.
We send our sincere condolences to his family and in particular, his two children.
Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathies are with his family during this incredibly difficult time.
