VGC Announces Three Director Promotions from January 2026

As we look ahead to the new year, we are delighted to share some positive news from across the VGC Group.

From 1 January 2026, three colleagues will step into Director roles, recognising their contribution, leadership and commitment to the business. These promotions reflect the strength of talent within VGC and our continued focus on developing and supporting our people.


Laura Perry, Human Resources Director

Laura Perry has been promoted to Human Resources Director, effective 1 January 2026, following more than 22 years with the VGC Group.

Since joining VGC, Laura has consistently demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication and leadership. Her calm and measured approach to managing complex HR matters ensures that both VGC’s interests and the needs of our people are carefully balanced. Her work underpins our values, with people at the centre of everything we do.

Throughout her career at VGC, Laura has continually delivered, inspired colleagues and upheld the standards that define the Group, setting a high benchmark for excellence in her field.

Richard Wheeler, SHE Director

Richard Wheeler has been promoted to SHE Director, effective 1 January 2026, in recognition of his 10 years of contribution to the VGC Group.

Richard has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to ensuring our people are provided with a safe working environment, while supporting our clients to deliver the same standards across their projects. His passion for safety, health and environment is reinforced by his ongoing professional development, including achieving chartered status in two disciplines.

Richard’s leadership and values-led approach have played a key role in strengthening safety culture across the business.

Natalie King, IT and Digital Director

Natalie King has been promoted to IT and Digital Director, effective 1 January 2026, following 2.5 years with the VGC Group.

Since joining VGC, Natalie has delivered several milestone projects, including the Pump and RSM system implementations and the outsourcing of IT infrastructure services. She has consistently demonstrated strong project management and strategic planning skills, delivering practical outcomes that support the wider business.

Natalie continues to inspire colleagues through her delivery, collaboration and commitment to VGC’s values, playing an important role in strengthening our digital capability.

We are confident that Laura, Richard and Natalie will continue to lead with the same passion, integrity and insight that have shaped their careers to date, as they take on their new Director roles.
