Christmas hat

As usual, we’ll be working hard to make sure everyone gets the right pay for Christmas 2021.

The VGC office will be closed as of Thursday 23rd December and will reopen on Tuesday 04th January 2022.

These are our arrangements for payments over the holidays for our weekly paid staff.

Holiday pay

  • A maximum of 10 days annual leave will be paid on Friday 10th No annual leave will be carried forward. If you do not have 10 days annual leave accrued, we will pay out any remaining balance in your account.
  • If you are working on projects at Sellafield your holidays will be paid on Friday 17th December 2021

Wages for week 38 (week ending 19 December 2021)

  • Timesheets need to be submitted on Monday 20 December.
  • Wages will be processed on Wednesday 22 December.
  • The money will be credited to your account on Friday 24 December.

Week 39 (week ending 26 December 2021)

  • Timesheets must be submitted by Tuesday 4 January.
  • Your pay will be processed on Wednesday 5 January 2022.
  • The money will be in your account on Friday 7 January 2021.

Week 40 (week ending 2 January 2022)

  • Timesheets need to be in by Wednesday 5 January 2022.
  • We will process your pay on Tuesday 11 January 2022.
  • Your wages will be in your account on Thursday 13 January 2022.

Week 41 (week ending 9 January 2022)

  • Timesheets need to be in by Monday 10 January 2022.
  • We will process your pay on Thursday 13 January 2022.
  • Your wages will be in your account on Monday 17 January 2022.

The payroll team will be working as hard as they can to get everyone’s wages correct.

We have to process pay for more than 1,300 staff so please be patient with us!

We can’t answer the phone while we are calculating payroll. We do want to help, but we have to get the wages right for everyone, so if you have questions please:

Don’t lose your holiday

Remember, if you have extra holiday that you have not booked, you must take it, or you may lose it – we can not carry holiday over to next year.

We appreciate all support from our workforce, clients, recruitment consultants and labour managers in ensuring that we receive the timesheets as early as possible for us to meet the payment dates.
