2025: Another Successful Year in Review
Over the past year, VGC has continued to grow across its core services:

Across the wider Group, VGC Projects successfully delivered challenging and complex works on the Piccadilly Line project and at Paddington.

2025 by the Numbers
Across the wider Group, our teams have supported projects across the UK and beyond, contributing to major infrastructure programmes and client delivery.
A snapshot of the year includes:
- Support provided across 112 projects, working with 26 clients
- Over 3.8 million working hours recorded from the north of Scotland to Plymouth
- Introduction of a new payroll system to simplify payments for weekly paid staff
- £675,000 invested in training, supporting 2,311 courses, 233 NVQs, and 8 apprenticeships, alongside ongoing NVQ and apprenticeship programmes
- Achievement of bronze accreditation in the 5% Club
- Successful completion of 28 client and industry audits, including reaccreditation to Workforce Assured for the second year
- Award of the Ministry of Defence ERS Gold Award, alongside delivery of £34.5 million in social value, aligned with government TOMs standards
- Continued focus on safety, with over 3,000 safety observations submitted and a reduction in the Accident Frequency Rate to 0.03
Awards and Industry Recognition
We are proud to have received a number of industry awards and commendations during 2025, including:
- Hillingdon Chamber of Commerce Socially Responsible Company Award
- Solihull Pioneer Award
- Highly Commended recognition at the Morgan Sindall Supply Chain Awards
- Shortlisting across four Construction News Award categories
These achievements sit alongside ongoing work on national infrastructure projects including HS2, Sizewell C, Sellafield, Devonport Docks, TRU, and Heathrow Airport, among others.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As we look ahead to 2026, we will continue to build on our strong reputation for delivering expert and sustainable recruitment solutions.
Our focus will remain on:
- Securing opportunities on major projects across the UK and beyond
- Placing skilled, professional and competent people into roles with leading clients
- Continuing to invest in training and skills development through the VGC Academy
- Prioritising the safety and wellbeing of our people
