Our teams are engaged on the fit-out works for the new Northern line extension stations.

They are based mainly at the worksites at Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms (next to Wandsworth Road and Pascal Street). They are supported by labour manager Donatas Jausicas.

We are also providing general and multi-skilled operatives, traffic marshals, cleaners, carpenters, steelfixers, slingers, scaffolders, and crane and gantry crane operatives.

The Nine Elms health and safety manager complimented our HSQE team on their proactive attitude to safety.

Well done team, great commitment… good stuff.

The Northern line extension (NLE) is scheduled to be completed in autumn 2021.

The main tunnelling finished in November 2017, after two tunnels were created between Battersea and new shafts at Kennington Green and Kennington Park.

The extension between Kennington and Battersea will help regenerate the Vauxhall, Nine Elms and Battersea areas. It will improve transport links and public spaces in the area, and support up to 25,000 jobs and 20,000 new homes. The project makes provision for a future extension to Clapham Junction and Battersea Park. Residents could travel from Nine Elms or Battersea to the West End or the City in under 15 minutes.

The extension is supported by the Mayor of London and Wandsworth, Lambeth and Southwark councils. Read more on the TfL website.
