Record achievement for Hinkley Point apprentices
In total 11 VGC Hinkley Point apprentices achieved industry qualifications in the first three months of 2019. The apprentices gained NVQ and BTEC diplomas in construction and civil engineering that will be of value to them for the rest of their careers. Successful NVQs for five apprentices

James Berry highly commended in Crossrail awards
At the Crossrail awards event on 29 March, apprentice James Berry was highly commended in the Apprenticeship Collaboration category. “This is a great achievement,” said Chris Ryan, director of VGC Labour Solutions south. “James was successful out of over 650 apprentices across the project. Rail engineering apprentices’ careers on track with VGC

Track partnership apprentices
