British Safety Council audit awards VGC three stars
After a detailed British Safety Council audit in spring 2014, VGC has been awarded an overall audited score of 82.33%, and a cumulative score of 80.3%, giving an overall grading of three stars. VGC Director awarded major Papal award
We are delighted to confirm that on 13 March 2014, Andy Rogers, non-executive director for the VGC Group, was honoured by Pope Francis, with the major Papal award of a Knight of St Gregory the Great (KSG). Crossrail award for VGC apprentices
VGC Labour Solutions is delighted to be part of the team at C511 that won the Crossrail Sustainability Award in the Young Crossrail and Community Investment category for their Construction Training in the Community initiative. "Be Safe by Choice with VGC" has a positive impact
In 2012 VGC launched its own behaviour based safety (BBS) programme called ‘Be Safe by Choice’. WS Atkins Training was engaged by VGC to assist in the development and delivery of the programme which raises awareness of how behaviour and attitudes can play an important part in reducing accidents and incidents in the work place.

VGC sets gold safety standard
The VGC Group is setting standards for safety in the workplace across the construction and rail industry. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) awarded VGC its most prestigious accolade, the Gold Achievement Award, in recognition of our high levels of performance in keeping the workplace environment safe for our staff and contractors.

Zero Harm improvement award
