A second Network Rail Star for VGC's Crossrail Anglia team

Supply Chain Sustainability School BCI awards win
The Supply Chain Sustainability School, of which VGC is a gold level partner, has won the Best Practice in Procurement award at the 2016 British Construction Industry Awards. We're shortlisted for two Construction Investing in Talent awards

Bobby Hayre, Eng Tech (MICE)
Bobby Hayre, who joined VGC as a graduate engineer, has been accepted as a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers. Crossrail sustainability award for VGC
VGC is honoured to have won the Crossrail Sustainability award for maximising employment opportunities. The Sustainability award for ‘Maximising Employment Opportunities’, was presented by Sir Terry Morgan, Crossrail chairman. Drainage work saves customer disruption
The Track Partnership team carried out drainage work at Paddington this summer to prevent delays and disruptions. Preventative pipe renewal work was carefully co-ordinated between Network Rail and London Underground. Because the drainage affects both parties, they agreed to share the cost of the renewal.
