LU Beacon award for Farringdon SER project
VGC is proud to have earned a TfL LU Beacon award for our Farringdon signal equipment room project. Network Rail Star award for Crossrail Anglia
Network Rail has given a Star award to VGC for work on Crossrail Anglia. The prestigious award was presented by Fenton Newport, Network Rail programme manager for Crossrail Anglia, during the project’s safety ‘Step up’ meeting on 1 July. VGC wins Infrastructure 21 Training award
The VGC Group has won the Training category in the inaugural Infrastructure 21 awards, which recognise best practice in key supply chain competencies. The awards are part of a new Leadership programme by CECA (Civil Engineering Contractors Association) and New Civil Engineer which has identified six areas of importance for the future of civil engineering.

VGC is 'Contractor of the Year'
VGC has been named ‘Contractor of the Year 2014’ on the Crossrail project at Bond Street station, based on the year’s safety scores. On the Crossrail project at Bond Street station managed by Costain Skanska, seven safety areas are measured each month, and the contractor who has scored highest is awarded ‘Contractor of the Month’.

VGC Director awarded major Papal award
We are delighted to confirm that on 13 March 2014, Andy Rogers, non-executive director for the VGC Group, was honoured by Pope Francis, with the major Papal award of a Knight of St Gregory the Great (KSG). VGC sets gold safety standard
The VGC Group is setting standards for safety in the workplace across the construction and rail industry. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) awarded VGC its most prestigious accolade, the Gold Achievement Award, in recognition of our high levels of performance in keeping the workplace environment safe for our staff and contractors.

Zero Harm improvement award
